Christmas Tree 2014

 Setting up the Christmas tree happened a little late this year. But, better late than never huh? We are headed to Washington for Christmas, so we figured, what's the point? But man, I am so glad we got over our bahumbug spirits because it's already making our home a little more magical!

Cliche maybe, but seeing the look on Abbigail's face as we turned the lights on and put ornaments on the tree was honestly priceless! She was so excited! She ran around yelling "Happy Dank You Day!" (Thank you Daniel Tiger.) We would correct her and tell her to say "Merry Christmas" instead but she wouldn't listen! 

She helped put on, then take off, then put back on almost every ornament and was so proud of herself! Holiday's truly are so much more fun with kids! After decorating the tree, she took a step back and said, "It's tigertastic!" (once again, thank you Daniel Tiger!)

I am so excited for this Christmas season! Christmas seems to bring out the happy in everyone and I love happy. Christmas makes me want to be better, to serve, to love more fully, to be more like my Savior, Jesus Christ. I hope we can all try to be a little better and a little nicer, especially this Christmas season as we remember what Christmas is really about; it's a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
